The Society For Biomaterials student chapters at the University of Maryland, College Park and Johns Hopkins University are proud to bring you the 3rd Annual Mid-Atlantic Biomaterials Day! Our theme this year is "Translational Biomaterials: Closing the Gap Between Bench and Bedside." This all-day research conference features local faculty, student, and industry speakers and is designed to provide networking opportunities and foster new collaborations.
“It was a great event and I enjoyed delivering a talk and sharing my experience with students.”
-Ibrahim Tarik Ozbolat, PhD, The Mid-Atlantic Biomaterials Day 2018 Keynote Speaker
“The speakers you selected covered a lot of interesting research and the talks built on each other in a good way. The outreach to undergraduate students was a nice aspect of the program.”
